As a long time customer of State Farm, you have forgotten about customers who have older iPhones. Im sure Im not the only one in this situation who cannot use the because it now requires IOS 8 or higher!!

Easy access to your proof of insurance even when not logged in (if you want). Can easily pay bills with Apple Pay. A nice overview of your accounts and insurance policies. Cant think of anything this app is missing.

State Farm is a useless insurance company. They give you the option of going to one of their auto body shops to get an estimate; an auto body shop of their choosing who has a State Farm person working there (which are few and far between and you will need an appointment to go to-which could take you a week to get); or use this terrible app. My situation was a State Farm driver rear-ended my brand new car. I wanted to get it fixed ASAP so they suggested I take pictures using the app. I was at home so I had both wifi from home as well as the Internet from my phone on and yet the app kept failing-telling me I have no internet connection. I took the pictures with the app and when I tried to submit them, it shows a percentage is submitted (e.g. 25-50%) then immediately says no internet connection, fails, and cannot submit request. I try deleting the app, reinstalling it, trying to take the pictures again because, of course, the app doesnt save anything that you previously did. I call a State Farm agent to "assist" me and they claimed they re-sent the code to my email twice in order to access the app. They sent me nothing-I receive no email from State Farm, yet Im receiving emails from work and friends, so its not an Internet connection problem. The State Farm person is useless. I try again for over an hour to try to submit and finally it says I have supposedly submitted the images and yet no estimate available. The State Farm person said it could take 48hrs for an estimate to be available. I ask for them to confirm that they did in fact receive the pictures because the app is unreliable and the State Farm agent says he cannot confirm that and will not know until there is actually an estimate available. So I say to him, so, youre telling me Im going to have to go through this frustrating process of using the app again if my images were not actually submitted or regarded as insufficient?? Affirmative says the useless State Farm person and he denies that they would delay a claim...well, theyre 100% liable for the damages to my vehicle so I can definitely see why they wouldnt want to pay. By the way, State Farm will not accept any actual pictures of the damage to my car and the other car via email, even though I have 20 of them, because its not done through the app. Instead they expect you to go back to the 90s as if youre using Microsoft Paint and pretend-mark using the pocket estimate app on a drawing of what should be your car where you believe the dents and scratches are and this is considered sufficient for them. Of course the State Farm rep claims no one has ever complained about this app and I tell him to take a look at the reviews here on the Apple App Store. Garbage State Farm app for a garbage company.

Can you please update the app where I can make a payment towards my bill.

Needs passbook (Apple wallet) support. Please put the insurance cards in Apple wallet where they belong.

First, this is a solid app. That said, State Farm is hypersensitive about security. Its nice that they care, but theyve turned into that overbearing parent that wont let you go bowling with your friends. Seriously, almost every time I log in, I have to verify my identity. Every other financial app I use (banks, retirement, etc.) doesnt make me do this. State Farm needs to ease up on the security for the sake of user experience.

Im regularly receiving messages from this app warning me not to manually force quit the app because it causes me not to receive bill notifications. I dont recall ever needing to force quit the State Farm app and it appears that these messages start every time theres an app update, not because Ive force quit the app. This is something that needs to be fixed as its an annoyance (placing blame on me for something Im not doing) and could cause customers to miss notification of bills.

With the latest update I need to verify myself on my iPhone. I cant just log in any more!

It would be nice to see your premium and next due date at a glance.

I like the Touch ID feature but it seems to clear my password after each update. I use Touch ID so I wont have to remember my password.

I am loving this app. I just paid my auto insurance with Apple Pay via finger scan on the phone. It took maybe 10 seconds. It stores my insurance cards for easy and up to date access. Best financial app I use!

This apps only function is displaying your ID card. Really should be a half- star rating.

I love State Farm!!! This app makes everything so easy with them!!! The only negative of state-farm bank is no Apple Pay...

I can not get update. But it will not update it only open

This app is great for what it needs to do. BUT: It needs Apple Wallet (Passbook) Support. Aside from Drivers licenses, everything else in my wallet (EVEN HEALTH INSURANCE CARDS) can go in my wallet app. Greatly needed. Make my iPhones Wallet a true wallet.

When I try to log in several times using the app, it says that my password in incorrect however when I log in on the computer Im able to access my account. Please fix. Additionally, this app lacks personality. I just switched to State Farm from Geico and this app is poorly developed in comparison.

My app wont update, and it wont redownload. Its very frustrating

Where did Apple Pay go??? I only have an option to pay with a bank or credit card.
